About The Department
The Department of Computer Science was established in 2010, initially enrolling 38 students with a single faculty member. Over the years, it has seen remarkable growth, currently accommodating 347 students and supported by a dedicated team of eight faculty members. With a strong emphasis on innovation and technology, the department foster the development of new technologies and encourage exploration of hardware systems. The department began with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science B.Sc (CS) program, expanded to include an additional section in the 2016-17 academic year and introduced a postgraduate program M.Sc (cs) in 2017-18 to better serve the educational needs of rural students. The department is equipped with excellent infrastructure, including a state of art, Wi-Fi enabled laboratory for all students. To date, it has proudly produced 442 undergraduate students and 197 postgraduates. The department actively encourages student participation in various technical events. Faculty members constantly update their skills by attending various faculty development programs, publishing research articles and presenting in national and international conferences and serves as resource person for conferences and seminars. Key research areas includes Digital Image Processing, Data Mining, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) and Wireless Networks.

About the Colleget
Government Arts and Science College, Thiruvennainallur, formerly Thiruvalluvar University Model College of Arts and Science in Thiruvennainallur, is the first model college under Thiruvalluvar University, known for its rich tradition and achievements. The college offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs in a supportive environment, aiming to empower students from diverse backgrounds and promote upward mobility. Since its establishment, it has successfully produced numerous accomplished individuals across various fields. Initially, the college started with five UG courses and 233 students and has expanded to include new UG and PG programs, catering to a growing student strength of 2,227 in 2024-2025, supported by a dedicated faculty. Beyond academics, the institution focuses on holistic student development and character building, ensuring the sustained growth of each individual.
Thiruvalluvar University Model College in Thiruvennainallur underwent a significant transformation in 2019, when it was converted into Government Arts and Science College affiliated to Annamalai University in 2021. This transition reflects a commitment to enhancing the quality of education and expanding academic opportunities for students in the region. As a newly established government institution, the college aims to uphold the educational legacy of its predecessor while providing a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. This affiliation with Annamalai University positions the college to benefit from the university's vast resources, accreditation and academic support. ultimately fostering an enriched learning environment. The college is dedicated to promote holistic development, catering to the educational needs of all students and ensuring their success in both academic and professional spheres.

About the University
Annamalai University, founded in 1929 by Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar is one of the South India's oldest and largest university, offering a diverse range of programs across 50 departments and eight faculties. Initially established to serve the downtrodden and to promote Tamil language and literature, the university has been instrumental in social, cultural and economic upliftment. In 2013, the Annamalai University Act was updated, transitioning it from a unitary to an affiliating university, now overseeing 81 affiliated colleges across Villupuram, Cuddalore, Kallakurichi, Mayiladuthurai districts. The university prioritizes a comprehensive education ecosystem, providing various facilities for holistic development alongside rigorous academic programs. • The most prominent one is our Thiruvennainallur, where Sundarar began his Thevaram hymns with the famous verse "Piththa Piraisoodi Perumane Arulala," at Arulmigu Kirubapureswarar Temple, Thiruvennainallur. Lord Siva's sacred footwear is displayed for devotees' darshan.
• TVN was the abode of Sadaiyappa Vallal. It is believed to be the place where Kambar started composing the Kamba Ramayanam with Vairava Mahakali blessings (1 km from college).

Gingee:
• Renowned for its majestic fort, designed to connect three hills with fortified walls.
• Rajagiri Fort, the tallest and most secure, stands approximately 800 feet high.

Call for Papers
Papers are invited from research scholars, professionals from academics, industry and student they can present their original research papers on the above themes. Each author should register separately with the title of the paper.
The paper shall be sent in soft copy in MS-Word with abstract not exceeding 250 words and full papers not exceeding 6 pages in IEEE format. Each research article with abstract and full paper in soft copy shall be maided mailed to : "icgai2025@gmail.com”. The paper presented in the conference will only be considered for the journal review. * The best papers presented will be selected by the Reviewers/experts and the same will be recommended for possible publication in the respective scopes of ICTACT Journals. ICT Academy will undergo review process for the selected conference papers.
